For today’s shocking reveal, we have something special for you folks. Earlier today, we received an anonymous tip-off about a piece of gameplay footage from Planetside 2. We have since confirmed this as true. Here you go, guys and gals, twelve minutes of glorious 1080p gameplay footage. Although we’re not quite sure who would be that much of an idiot to break a legally-binding NDA (non-disclosure agreement), we nonetheless thank him/her for their foolishness.

The video itself is not much more than gameplay footage. However, if you look closely, you’ll notice a lot of things. The further polish of gameplay and graphics are quite noticeable, as well as the improvement in lighting and actual gameplay, as opposed to a demo or an official video. This video also serves as a very amazing reminder of just how big the maps and battles are right now, and what we’ll be able to expect once the NDA is lifted and more players are allowed into the fray.
Planetside 2 is a Massively Multiplayer Online First-Person Shooter (MMOFPS) that is currently in closed, confidential beta. The game uses an F2P model and centers itself around the premise of massive warfare on the planet of Auraxis, set in a science-fiction theme.
